Volunteer Vendor Show Coordinator Job Description

Catherine Creek Community Center 


Job brief

Support our Vendor Shows through the year.  This job includes coordination with partners in the community for Special Holiday events and summer vendor shows.  The Holiday vendor show is a coordinated effort with the City of Union Chamber of Commerce annual Holiday Parade.  Summer Vendor shows are in partnership with Main Street Union. 


Responsibilities

  • Host vendors

  • When not available, schedule and train volunteers to host vendor shows

  • Support staff in marketing and promoting vendor shows

  • Maintain vendor registration forms and fees

  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors

  • Develop vendor shows policies and procedures.  i.e. no political displays, vendor refund when fees are not met, 

  • Report regularly to Board of Directors

  • Maintain all Oregon State Health and Safety requirements  

  • Communicate regularly with the Board of Directors regarding music scheduling, building reservations and vendor communication, ect… 

  • Move tables and chairs for the evnt

  • Have fun and enjoy your time with creative business persons!


Requirements and skills

  • Food Handler Card

  • Knowledge of Catherine Creek Community Center policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of locations of first aid kit and fire extinguishers


Notes: 

A file folder is maintained in the office with blank and completed registration forms
